Reason Refills

Propellerhead Reason Refills ship in the native Reason Refill format .rfl, .sxt and .wav files. These Reason Refills highly compress the sample data and contain .sxt patch files specifically for the NN-XT sampler in Reason. You can also import the wav samples from the Reason Refill to Redrum. We do not offer instrument patches – only Drums, effects and chops & riffs for Reason Refills. If you would like to import instruments samples into the NN-XT, purchase the Wav Sample instrument format. More info can be found on importing samples into the NN-XT in the Reason operation manual. When using the download option or copying over, these sounds will not play on the computer.

To purchase a sound kit in the Reason Refill format, choose the ‘Reason’ option under ‘Format’ and the CD-ROM ($2) or Download Option (instant download) under ‘Shipping’ when checking out. Get special package Hip Hop Sample CDs, Reggaeton Sample CD, Latin Sample CD, Drum Sample CD under the ‘Special Price Sounds’.

Sound kits that feature 128 sounds will typically contain 2 files within the Reason Refill: 1-Drums (64) 2-Effects (32), Instruments (32). Addon Collections typically feature 96 samples spread across 2-3 .sxt patch files within the Reason Refill. Sound kits featuring 64 sounds will contain 1 patch file.
